October 11 2025. Fourteen years ago I decided to explore what I can do with lasers. Wonderful circumstances brought me together with Michael Sollinger, CEO and founder of LaserAnimation Sollinger here in Berlin. Without his support and encouragement none of my laser installations and concert pieces would have been possible. LaserAnimation today turned 40. Happy Anniversary! Photo above taken at Monopol Berlin where I showed my first installation Fragile Territories again, as part of the birthday celebrations.

September 10 2025 - A stereo mixdown of my Dust performance at Mostra Festival, Barcelona in April is now online via Delayed.NYC . Enjoy!

August 2025 - Happy to report a lot of progress concerning the work on my next big new audiovisual concert piece. I don't feel like sharing any interim results, and it will take another few months till it will be ready, but I am having a great time developing it: writing the needed software for it, working on music, thinking about the overall shape and meaning of the work, and in general making sure it will be worth experiencing once it is ready to be brought to the world.

May 2025 - Lumière III just had its final performance at Mapping Festival in Geneva, on May 24. I did present the first version of Lumière in 2013. At that time no commercial laser graphics software could accomplish the things I am interested in. I developed my own system, which I refined in the years to come, and which inspired amongst others the creators of Touch Designer to implement control tools after seeing my Lumière II show in Toronto in 2015. When performing Lumière III in Geneva, I realised I still consider it a great artistic and technical achievement, even by the standards of 2025.
