We are happy to announce a premiere: The first release of an external artist on Robert's own record label imbalance computer music: Electric Indigo's debut album 5 1 1 5 9 3, available from Friday the 16th on CD, double vinyl, download and stream. Electric Indigo is currently working on preparations for the audiovisual live performance version. A first glance of what to expect can be found online: A video for the piece 'Darcy In Paradise'. Video - Phosphor
For last year's edition of Roma Europa Festival in Rome, Italy, Robert Henke developed a new laser installation - Phosphor - and finally a great video of it is online! The installation piece will be shown again later this year, details to be announced soon.
From Within...
After almost one and a half years of work and preparations, things are starting to come together nicely: 'From Within....', the collaborative concert piece by Marko Nikodijevic and Robert Henke, a commission by legendary contemporary music performers Ensemble intercontemporain, is starting to become reality. It is a work for an ensemble ( including a lot of percussions! ), computer generated sound, real time audio processing and a LED sculpture created by Robert Henke specifically for the project. The electronic sound will be diffused using a state of the art 65 loudspeaker system driven by a newly developed wave field synthesis algorithm, provided by the legendary computer music research center in Paris, IRCAM. The premiere of 'From Within....', will happen on June 8 at Citè de la Musique in Paris.
